Mackay

3 hour drive to Mackay from Rockhampton,  fog 8.00am to 9.00am

fog cleared and we could see .....more vans

and beautiful scenery... Bruce highway, sugar cane and mountains in the background, (just for a change, ha ha) there were about 500 photos to choose from..... not really, but Sharon took heaps

 
3 hours later we are in Mackay and looking for our new home for the next 3 days.
Driving to Eungella (pronounced youngella) National Park, 100ks West of Mackay

all to myself......the beach at Cape Hillsborough National Park

not to myself ..,theres Joe coming onto the beach out of the bush

and a wallaby, all of  a sudden its crowded

this treasure of  a place is on the fringe of the national park.... 
.......is a small beach village called Seaforth, it would be like living in Paradise if the temperature stayed at 25 degrees all year round
 
Now for a one hour drive back to Moana caravan park and get ready to move on tomorrow to Airlie beach.

Seventeen Seventy/Agnes waters - Kepple Sands, Yeppon, Rockingham,

Stopped here for coffee 75k south of Rockhampton

Chimpanzees put on a screaming act, on they moved around pretty quick, hard to get a good shot

Back home at Kepple Sands caravan Park after a hard day out...here for 3 days whilst exploring Capricorn coast
we had beautiful fresh pineapples every day thanks to a pineapple picker who lives in this park.
leaving tomorrow 24/07/16 to Mackay for a 3 day stay there.
