Alice Springs MacDonnell Ranges

Left Kings canyon 3 hours ago on our way to Alice

3 hours later it was an interesting drive

Not going past Alice, staying 6 days, service the Jeep, exploring Alice and the MacDonnell Ranges

heading to The East MacDonnells range

Corroboree Rock

nice walking track around this rock

one of the easiest walks

had a drive around, did not see one person anywhere, large spread out area, felt isolated, every one must have gone out touring

typical of all the rivers we crossed, wide, dry and sandy as were all the gorges. During the wet season these would full of water

Trephina Gorge waterhole (sideways pic)

same Trephina Gorge waterhole .....the only bit of water we saw all day

Lunch at Trephina Gorge

Emily Gap

Jessie Gap

still at Emily Gap
all these "gaps" would be full of water during the wet season

back in Alice after a big day exploring

went to the camel farm but it was closed so went back to camp for happy hour

School of the Air

This was the "spring"
